briefing: when I was asked to design Dávalos logo the objective was clear – it has to be elegant and simple. The name Dávalos expresses the idea of a distinctive family. It was essential to work with a contemporary font that could assemble the overall concept. The selected one was a high-contrast serif typeface, with classic cues coming through while feeling contemporary. On closed counters of the letters “d” and “o” were inserted two lines with the same angle as the “a” accent. The result is a timeless luxury brand that perfectly represents the essence of the studio.

cooper, the new gold: On the briefing was requested the use of gold but soon we understood that this brand was crafted to express authenticity with subtle details. The Cooper tone was used to bring some warmth and value. A metal element to blend with natural shades. The colour palette combines natural tones of rock, plants, and metals evoking a sense of connection to the environment. These colours, reminiscent of a Mediterranean and Arabic ambience, with a distinct identity and a refined sense of style. The colour selection embodies the brand’s blend of tradition and contemporary clarity.
the pebble: From the letter “d” we extract the element we were missing to complement the brand. The “pebble” represents the things that matter in our lives. This element became the icon used on different graphic materials. This can be used to fit inside a circular shape, allowing it to be applied to social media avatars, stickers or stamps.
summary: The logo for Dávalos serves as a visual invitation to experience the brand’s interior design creations, spaces aesthetically pleasant, welcoming and inviting. It is the result of a thoughtful and creative process, that embodies the brand’s values and style through its contemporary typography, artistic shapes, and the use of copper and natural tones. With warmth and elegance at its core, the logo serves as a powerful symbol of the brand’s commitment to creating luxurious and inviting spaces.
